Certification Candidate Attestation & Agreement

Before receiving a CODE2VIBE Academy certification, each candidate must read and agree to this attestation. It confirms your work is authentic and sets out important acknowledgments that protect CODE2VIBE Academy and its Parent Company, CODE2VIBE.

By checking the box (or signing) below, I, the certification candidate (“Candidate,” “I,” or “me”), attest and agree to the following:

1. Identity and Authentic Work

  1. I am the person enrolled under my account, and the identity information I provided is true and accurate.
  2. All coursework, quizzes, assessments, and certification exams were completed by me personally and honestly.
  3. I did not cheat, plagiarize, use unauthorized assistance, share exam content, or misrepresent my work in any way.
  4. Any work product, prompts, or code I submitted is my own or is properly licensed for my use.

2. Code of Conduct

  1. I will not share, resell, record, or redistribute course videos, assessment content, or materials.
  2. I will not share my account or certification credentials with anyone else.
  3. I will represent my certification truthfully and only for the credential I actually earned, and I will not alter or misuse CODE2VIBE or CODE2VIBE Academy names, logos, or certification marks.

3. Acknowledgment — No Guarantee of Outcomes

  1. I understand that CODE2VIBE Academy provides education and that the certification recognizes completion of its program at a point in time.
  2. I understand the certification is not a guarantee of employment, income, job placement, licensure, or any specific professional result, and is not accredited by any government body unless expressly stated.
  3. I am responsible for how I apply the skills and for the quality, security, and legality of any software or work I produce using them.

4. Certification Validity and Revocation

  1. I understand CODE2VIBE Academy may verify, suspend, or revoke my certification if it determines I violated this attestation, the Terms of Use, or engaged in fraud or misconduct.
  2. I understand a certification tied to a purchase that is later refunded will be revoked, and I agree to stop representing that I hold it.

5. Release and Indemnification

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I release CODE2VIBE Academy and its Parent Company CODE2VIBE, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents (together, the “Released Parties”), from any claims or liability arising out of my participation in the program, my certification, or my use of the skills taught.
  2. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) my breach of this attestation or the Terms of Use; (b) my misrepresentation of my certification or credentials; (c) my submissions or work product; or (d) my violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
  3. I understand the Released Parties are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and that their total liability is limited as described in the Terms of Use.

6. Privacy and Verification

  1. I consent to CODE2VIBE Academy retaining my certification records and to confirming, upon reasonable request, whether I hold a valid credential.
  2. I have read and agree to the Privacy Statement and Terms of Use, which are incorporated by reference.

7. Acknowledgment

I have read and understood this attestation. I am at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in my jurisdiction), and I am agreeing to it freely and voluntarily. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
